Reflection
This assignment helped me evaluate the importance of school, sticking with my education, and being determined not to give up. This entire course has been exciting and intriguing. I am planning on being a teacher, so the idea of taking a course that allows you to discuss and evaluate the different topics and decisions that arise throughout life is very vital to success as a teacher.
This particular assignment was one that was close to home for me. I did not start school immediately after high school. I went for one semester, and took another year off. I am finally back in school full-time and about to graduate with my associates degree. I picked this assignment because I felt the most connected to the topic. I personally feel that people should not drop out. I am lucky because my husband is so supportive of my education, and is willing to support me so I can work part-time and go to school full-time. Not everyone is as accommodating as he is. Your entire life can be changed by one decision – if you drop out or not.
